Europcar, Europe’s largest car rental company, has announced the creation of 50 jobs and the opening of two new branches in Ireland.
The 50 jobs created are in the Customer Service, Reservations, Finance, Fleet Services and Vehicle Maintenance sectors of the business. The jobs are located in Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Knock and Navan.
Europcar also announced the opening of two new branches, in Navan and Galway. The Navan branch is now open for business with the Galway branch due to open in the coming weeks. The two new branches will increase Europcar’s national footprint to 9 locations adding to the existing branches located in Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Kerry and Knock.
Colm Brady, Business Development Director of Europcar Ireland, commented, “Our business is experiencing strong growth and we are embarking on an expansion phase to capitalize on that growth. The creation of 50 jobs and the opening of these two new branches show the extent of our ambition for the Irish market.
4% of all cars registered in Ireland in 2012 to date have been registered by Europcar which illustrates our scale. We have adapted to the demands of the market and diversified our offering to meet the needs of both consumers and corporates. We have a dedicated team working on corporate business providing fleet solutions from 2 to 100 vehicles, for both cars and vans, and we see this as a major area of growth for the company.”
